A fun evening with Latin American and other Music with Paula & Jorge – Opening Act: Brian Frey
They were well received at the various performances at SUUSI – now they are here to bring enjoyment to us. Paula Heusinkveld and Jorge Medina from South Carolina will perform at Waldo’s Coffeehouse on November 11. Their repertoire includes various styles of Latin music, blues, some jazz standards, old Beatles, a little honky-tonk, and even some sing-alongs. Paula and Jorge are also musical performers frequently at their own UU Fellowship in Clemson.
Opening act will be Brian Frey, a good friend of our Alex Spitzer. He is well known for playing at local venues and festivals in the area.
By the way, if Paula’s last name sounds familiar, well, that’s because she is the sister of our Ginger White. Jorge, Paula’s husband, plays guitar and Paula plays piano and/ or keyboard.
Come and join us for Emerson’s largest fundraising event; Waldo’s Coffeehouse. And mark your calendar for the 2018 concerts (see below).
The concert at Emerson UUC, 4010 Canton Road, Marietta, GA 30066 starts at 7:00 PM. Doors open at 6:30 PM. Entrance donation is $10 – children under 18 are free. In fact, Waldo’s Coffeehouse offers free child care! (preregistration required at email@example.com by 11/08/2017). Snacks and drinks will be provided and adult beverages will once again be offered for a nominal donation.
