Troy and Rhonda Lashbrooks are a husband and wife, singer-songwriter duo, performing soulful-roots music and retro-rock remakes in the local and regional area.  LASHBROOKS as headlined at Steve’s Live Music, Red Light Cafe’, Red Clay Theater, and many festivals, coffeehouses, and private events. 
 
The music of LASHBROOKS is truly a unique blend of Rock, Soul, Folk, and Alternative music. Their sound has been described as amazing chemistry between two people in love, communicating love, loss, tragedy and triumph, through rich harmonies, soaring vocals, and skilled songwriting and musicianship. Eddie Owen (formerly of Eddie’s Attic, and now of Eddie Owen Presents and Red Clay Theater in Duluth), called Troy and Rhonda Lashbrooks – ‘World Class’ and offered them a stage after hearing only one song. One fan described LASHBROOKS as the best Hippy-Jazzy-Folky-Rock Music you will ever hear!
 
Rhonda Lashbrooks is a former Nashville music label executive, and now the new producer and host of Hungry Ear Coffeehouse in Sandy Springs and the Heron House Music Listening Room in Mountain Park/Roswell. She is a seasoned vocalist and songwriter with roots in gospel and music theater. She provides studio vocal coaching and artist management to up-and-coming artists through her production company, BrooksTone Productions.
 
Troy Lashbrooks is a skilled guitarist and former front-man for rock bands, traveling throughout the country. He is an audio-engineer, specializing in solo, duo, and full-band performances in the studio, and for live performances. He manages the live sound for Hungry Ear Coffeehouse and the Heron House Music Listening Room.

The concert at Emerson UUC, 4010 Canton Road, Marietta, GA 30066 starts at 7:00 PM. Doors open at 6:30 PM. Entrance donation is $10 – children under 18 are free. Snacks and drinks will be provided and adult beverages will once again be offered for a nominal donation. Waldo’s Coffeehouse offers also free child care (preregistration required at dre@emersonuu.org required by 2/08/2017).
